Client: Leading Worldwide Media Company
Our client is a leading worldwide media company (LWMC) and publisher
providing integrated marketing solutions for the Fashion, Life
Sciences and Power Sports industries.
Business Goal: Produce Multi-Media Educational Display for
Physicians’ Offices
In the Life Sciences sector, LWMC serves the healthcare, dental and
veterinary fields, as well as pharmaceutical, science and drug
discovery markets through primary and specialist publications, niche
professional journals, conferences, continuing medical education
("CME") products, custom publishing and projects. A major
pharmaceutical client recently turned to LWMC to help produce new
multi-media patient education materials covering a specific medical
condition. The program, which included an educational CD, related
print components, and display unit to house the materials, was
targeted for use in physicians’ offices throughout the United
States.
Solution: Experienced Media Replication Partner with Turnkey
Service Offerings
Given the high visibility nature of the project, combined with
underlying costs constraints, LWMC needed a partner who get the job
done on-time, on-budget and at the highest level of quality. With
its proven reputation for quality and quick turnaround, coupled with
its turnkey service offerings, EchoData Group was the logical
choice.
To meet our client’s requirements, EchoData produced a 4-panel
wallet CD with 4-color graphics and information on the specific
medical condition (enlarged prostate) contained on each panel. 15 CD
wallets were then assembled into a counter display unit with header
card and additional supporting graphics. EchoData provided a full
range of replication, print, assembly and shipping services in
support of the project.
Results: Helping Pharmaceutical Sales Reps Build New Customers
Leveraging EchoData’s expertise and turnkey support, LWMC was able
to deliver professional and high quality patient education materials
to its client. EchoData provided quick turnaround on 275,000 printed
wallets and CDs, and 15,000 display units for the materials. In
addition, favorable pricing from EchoData enabled LWMC to increase
its order by 50,000 units just prior to final production. EchoData
custom-packed each unit and then packed 15 sets together for
shipment to the pharmaceutical company’s sales representatives.
This extra bit of support ultimately made life easier for the sales
reps in their transport and delivery of materials to physicians’
offices.
