AMS Begins 2nd Enclave with Pleasantview Industries

October 21, 2011

VALENCIA, CA October 20, 2011 – AMS Fulfillment Services is announcing its second enclave in an ongoing partnership with Pleasantview Industries, Inc., an organization that has been serving developmentally disabled adults in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1969. AMS enjoys a mutually beneficial relationship with Pleasantview and provides opportunities for developmentally disabled adults in an enclave setting, in which they work as a group with an on-site counselor.

AMS will begin the installation of its second enclave, commencing October 24, 2011. This type of workplace setting, now at two AMS locations, highlights the individual’s skillset in a safe and positive environment, while interacting with other AMS associates.

AMS began its first enclave in July, 2011, which has proved to be extremely successful for all involved. It is the desire of AMS to continue to provide opportunities for employment for developmentally disabled adults, and other at-risk individuals. AMS also works closely with the Sheriff’s Department YAL program, and the City’s YES Program, hiring other youth for jobs throughout AMS’ Valencia facilities.
