Our Warehousing and Distribution services include:
Receiving: Ensuring a Smooth Running Supply Chain
For EchoData clients, a streamlined and efficient supply chain begins with the accurate receipt and inspection of products and materials. Our trained warehouse professionals manage the receipt of clients' raw material components and finished goods via a detailed receiving process, shelving all items in the appropriate storage area and adjusting inventory records on a real time basis. When needed, our staff provides additional weigh counting of materials or inspection to insure shipment integrity from vendors.
Warehouse Management: Safe and Secure Storage of Customer Assets
At its main East Coast facilities, EchoData offers over 100,000 square feet of climate-controlled warehousing with the ability to handle large volumes of SKUs. Our warehouse management capabilities include the secure and efficient storage of raw material components and finished goods. Storage may be on shelves for pick, pack & ship items or on pallets for raw materials.
Inventory Control: Quality Support through Proven Technology
EchoData’s automated systems facilitate accountability for the movement of all inventoried items throughout the entire warehousing, production and fulfillment cycle and enable serial number, lot number and expiration date tracking of products and components. Bar coding technology helps to insure data integrity of all inventoried items.
Shipping and Distribution: On-Time Delivery at the Lowest Possible Cost
EchoData also provides fully integrated freight management. Our shipping department consists of multiple manifest stations that are linked to all major carriers: UPS, FedEx, DHL, the U.S. Post Office and specialized trucking companies and couriers. Our combination of systems enables EchoData to offer valuable rate shopping capabilities and volume consolidation, which often translates into discounted shipping rates for our customers.
Security and Redundancy: Protecting Your Business Operations
EchoData's fulfillment warehouse and distribution facility is also safe and secure. We use security cameras throughout, as well as card access control. Each client is allocated specific warehousing locations and access is restricted. Hazardous materials are stored and shipped using best practice guidelines, while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
To ensure continuity in your fulfillment operations during the time of unplanned events, such as a power outage, we offer redundancy that includes multiple sites within our corporate park, back up power generation, off-site data storage, and redundant Internet providers as part of our overall disaster recovery plan (DRP).
